When I had the privilege of meeting Yasi and her family, it was immediately clear that a rich family legacy of tradition, class, and refinement had been passed down through the generations. Their wedding, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Livermore’s wine country, was a seamless blend of old-world elegance and contemporary sophistication. The venue, Wente Vineyards, located in the heart of California’s Livermore Valley, was the perfect choice for this young, stylish couple, creating the ideal atmosphere for their unforgettable celebration.
One of the most special elements of Yasi and her wedding day was the Persian Sofreh, a central part of any traditional Persian wedding ceremony. For Yasi, incorporating her family heirlooms into the Sofreh was essential. To highlight these heirlooms, we selected a crisp off-white fabric for the Sofreh spread, allowing the vibrant elements to stand out. From the mirror and candelabras to the honey and sweet dishes, each piece was carefully arranged, telling a story of heritage and love. Framed by a breathtaking arrangement of fresh flowers, the Sofreh became a true masterpiece, a beautiful tribute to the couple’s cultural roots and their family’s rich traditions.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at Wente’s historic mission-style event center, where no detail was overlooked. The reception was designed to feel intimate yet luxurious, offering a perfect blend of classic charm and modern sophistication. As the night unfolded, dessert followed dessert—sweet treats, followed by tea and more indulgence, ensuring every guest had their fill of delectable delights. Meanwhile, the DJ’s expertly curated song selection kept the energy high, with everyone dancing late into the night. It was a celebration of love, joy, and unforgettable memories.
