Ariana and Nima’s love story began years ago in college, and although life led them down different paths for a time, their love only grew stronger. When the time came to plan their wedding, they envisioned a grand, unforgettable celebration, and they found the perfect setting at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco—a venue that exudes timeless elegance and majesty.

From the start, the couple knew they wanted their wedding to feel like a fairy tale. The Palace Hotel’s stunning architecture, combined with its luxurious atmosphere, provided the ideal backdrop for their storybook wedding.

Creating a Garden-Like Ceremony Indoors

Ariana’s original vision for her ceremony was an outdoor setting surrounded by lush greenery, but as The Palace Hotel didn’t offer an outdoor space for the ceremony, we knew we had to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. The breathtaking Sunset Court with its iconic glass ceiling was the perfect choice. To bring the garden feel to life, we collaborated with a skilled florist to handpick greenery and create an airy, open atmosphere that made guests feel as though they were in a blooming garden.

Ariana and Nima’s Baha’i wedding ceremony was deeply meaningful and personal. Performed by a dear friend of the couple, the ceremony included beautiful readings from family and friends, creating a heartfelt and intimate atmosphere. The couple’s faith played a significant role in shaping their ceremony, and the love and connection shared by all was palpable throughout the day.

An Elegant Reception at The Grand Ballroom

After the ceremony, guests were directed to the elegant Gold Ballroom for cocktails and appetizers. Here, guests were treated to the sounds of a live string quartet and the opportunity to take photos by the room’s magnificent fireplace—an enchanting spot for mingling and capturing memories.

As guests entered the Grand Ballroom for the reception, they were greeted with an unforgettable sight. The room was bathed in the soft glow of hundreds of candles, and the air was filled with the sweet fragrance of gardenias. The décor was nothing short of magical, with two stunning swan sculptures created entirely from orchids, roses, and gardenias, standing as the centerpiece of the room. These floral masterpieces added a romantic and whimsical touch to the evening’s festivities.

A Memorable Wedding Feast and Sweet Delights

The reception was a visual and sensory delight, with every detail carefully curated. The bride and groom’s grand entrance was made even more special with a carpet of rose petals scattered at their feet, making for a breathtaking moment and memorable photographs.

For dessert, a sweet table featuring a beautiful mix of Persian and French patisseries was served on elegant crystal pedestals. The combination of flavors from the couple’s cultural heritage and French delicacies was a true crowd-pleaser.

Dinner was an exquisite feast of Persian cuisine, prepared to perfection and enjoyed by all. The guests were treated to a culinary experience that perfectly complemented the elegant atmosphere
